Lauren Boebert and Paul Gosar Among Intellectually Challenged Republicans

Donald Trump continues to receive the support of most fake-Republican legislators. We have learned that when they go to battle with Democrats and Independents, they arrive unarmed. When I write the names Matt Gaetz, Louie Gohmert, Mo Brooks, Kevin McCarthy, Jim Jordan, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Paul Gosar, or Lauren Boebert, all Republican members of the House, I suddenly feel as though I lost IQ points just talking about them. Fortunately for Democrats, they all lack the intelligence needed to engage in an exchange of dialogue and personal attacks.

Look at the recent effort by Lauren Boebert to discredit Ilhan Omar, a Democratic Representative from Minnesota, and others who believe in the Constitution and good government.

In response to the censure of Paul Gosar, another failed member of the Trump Party, Boebert attacked not only Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez but also Omar. The Representative from Colorado defended her colleague from Arizona for posting an anime of him murdering Ocasio-Cortez. In addition, she labeled Omar a “member of the jihad squad,” and accused Eric Swalwell of “sleeping with the enemy,” an alleged Chinese spy.

“The Jihad Squad member from Minnesota has paid her husband, and not her brother husband, the other one, over a million dollars in campaign funds,” she said. “This member is allowed on the Foreign Affairs Committee while praising terrorists.”

“My colleague and three-month presidential candidate from California who’s on the Intelligence Committee, slept with Fang Fang, a Chinese spy. Let me say that again: A member of Congress who receives classified briefings was sleeping with the enemy,” she said in an attack on Swalwell.

This has become the right-wing’s only tactic: attack your enemies in a thinly veiled effort to hide your crimes. Boebert is under investigation for the alleged use of campaign funds to save her restaurant business. She has also been accused of holding a tour for the leaders of the January 6 insurrection in the Capitol, although tours had been forbidden due to the pandemic.

One thing we have learned from the Trump Party is that the truth, facts, and science have been tossed aside and replaced by baseless opinions and vicious falsehoods. And we all know that opinions are just like ***holes; everybody has one.

For her baseless attacks on the floor of the House, Boebert has received endless criticism from not only Democrats but voters in her home state of Colorado. Has America become tired of the constant hate-filled attacks from the right on every member of the Democratic Party? And can you believe anything from Trump and his cult? Trick question!

It is difficult for me to answer one of my own questions: “what the hell has happened to our country?” I am well-informed and aware that the once Grand Old Party began to change in 1981. Still, in four years of Trump’s illegitimate presidency, today’s Republican Party in name only wholly imploded. Yet, they continue to offer their allegiance not to the American people but to a fascist criminal who cares only about himself. This makes no sense.

The truth is that the Republican Party has been void of competent leadership for decades. From Ronald Reagan’s endless attempt to be autonomous to the failed and incompetent administration of George W. Bush, and completed between 2017 and 2021 with the most unqualified men in history leading our nation, the facts prove that right-wing politicians cannot govern our country effectively. And don’t let me get started about the worst senator in American history, Moscow Mitch McConnell. The old man from Kentucky has failed the people of his state for the last 37 years.

Time to vote all fake Republicans out of office.
