Chris Wallace Quits the ‘Tucker Carlson Network’ for CNN

Rupert Murdoch continues to allow Tucker Carlson to set policy on Fox News. But, unfortunately, his lies have reached a level not achieved by Sean Hannity in the four years of Trump’s reign of terror over the United States. In the latter part of last week, he pledged his support for Vladimir Putin and his apparent plans to invade Ukraine. It has become so nauseating that they should rename Fox the “Tucker Carlson Network.”

As Carlson becomes the face of Fox News, its only legitimate journalist announced on Sunday that he is leaving the fake news network after 18 years. Instead, Chirs Wallace will join CNN’s streaming service, CNN+. He will be broadcasting once a week, according to CNN.

Wallace was the only reporter on Fox who was willing to challenge Trump when he told one of his many, many lies.

At the end of his Sunday broadcast, Wallace displayed his usual grace and professionalism, something no one on the fake news network possesses.

“It is the last time, and I say this with real sadness, we will meet like this,” Wallace said. He described his time at Fox as a “great ride” and said he was “ready for a new adventure.”

One cannot help but wonder if the last few days’ embarrassing and literally silly reporting about a fake Christmas tree burning helped Wallace decide. Fox’s fake “journalists” covered the incident for 36 straight hours in the same manner a legitimate news network would cover a real news story such as the tornados which ravaged six states on Saturday.

Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Jeanine Pirro, and others called the action by a homeless man a “hate crime,” and “an attack on Christianity.”

Really? No one could not make up this s***. Someone, please explain how a Christmas tree relates to the Christian religion. It is filled with fairy tales, but none involve a tree decorated with lights and ornaments.

The only surprise in this entire story is that Wallace lasted for as long as he did. Like his late father, Mike, who reported for “60 Minutes,” the truth is essential to him, and nearly everything from the mouths of Fox on-air personalities is a blatant lie or a half-truth.

One of Fox’s “big three,” Megyn Kelly, lasted only ten years. After the news division president, Roger Ailes was accused by 25 women who worked for Fox of sexual harassment and sexual assault; she admitted that she too was a victim. She left Fox in 2017.

Wallace will be remembered as the moderator for presidential debates in 2016 and 2020. He was upset that in the 2020 debate, Trump constantly talked over President Biden’s time to offer the American people his position on the issues. If anyone watched the debacle, they were undoubtedly ashamed to be an American that evening.

He is principled, and his integrity is without question. However, it is hard to understand how Wallace lasted 18 years on a network with no respect from other legitimate news broadcasts or credible reporters.

Fox is the industry’s laughing stock unless the viewer is brainwashed and enjoys listening to lies from its so-called news broadcasters. So why does the FCC renew its license?
