Chicago Department of Transporation advises motorists of planned road closures downtown for the filming of “The Batman” continues. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. CT Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, through the following morning at 9:00 a.m. LaSalle Street between Washington Street and Jackson Boulevard will be closed.

batmanCDOT says drivers should expect delays and limited street parking. The closures will be both short-and-long-term, much like last weekend’s Batman-related filming. ABC reports that Gotham City police were parked along the streets and speeding vehicles whizzed through the area near Thompson Center.

Batman fans are excited the filming has resumed after shutting down production when Robert Patterson tested positive for COVID-19. Production delay caused the film’s release date to be pushed back — March 4, 2022.
